In 1972, nestled in the misty mountains of Gyeongsang Province, a young herbalist named Joon-ho Lee began experimenting with ancient Korean salt purification rituals. He started with just a handful of bamboo stalks and sun-dried sea salt, guided by traditional healing manuscripts passed down through generations. That same year, Joon-ho fired his first batch of bamboo salt in a clay furnace built by hand. In the early years, Salvera was a humble endeavor crafted in silence, supported by his wife, Hae-jin, who helped prepare the herbal infusions and tended the bamboo groves. Each batch was carefully slow roasted, not for mass production, but to preserve the ritualistic purity and energetic essence of traditional Korean wellness.

Sustainability
Mindfulness the Environment
Our salts are slow-roasted in bamboo harvested from sustainable groves, using traditional ceramic kilns that minimize waste and maximize purity. We work in rhythm with nature, never against it. Each batch reflects a sacred balance of ancient wisdom, environmental care, and conscious creation. Because luxury is not just what you consume, it’s how gently it’s made.
